YOKKAO 50 Main Event: Jordan Watson vs Fran Valderrama
It’s the final countdown with less than one week away from YOKKAO 49-50. After more than a year since our last event, we are returning to the University of Bolton Stadium on Sunday 8th August for a night of explosive Muay Thai action. Headlining the dual card will be none other than one of UK’s top fighters, Jordan Watson who will be facing Spanish fighter, Fran Valderrama Navarro in the main event.
Training out of the famed Bad Company gym in Leeds with coach Richard Smith, Jordan Watson is set to make a highly-anticipated return to the YOKKAO stage in the coming event. He is a 2-time YOKKAO world champion with 2 title defenses and 6 YOKKAO wins to his name. Always exciting to watch in the ring, the 33-year-old is known for his hard punches and devastating head kicks, with a highly technical style to back. After nearly 4 years since his last YOKKAO appearance, Watson will be looking to mark his return with a big bang.
Stepping into the main event challenge is Fran Valderrama from Spain’s Internacional Gym. The 29-year-old is a fresh face to YOKKAO where he will make his promotional debut at Bolton this coming Sunday. Training under coach Lluis Lloret, Valderrama brings with him a record of 40 fights including 28 wins as well as experience fighting on both sides of the Atlantic and in Thailand. The Spanish team will be going all out to make a statement on fight night, making this headliner truly a match to watch for.
