YOKKAO 43: Yodchai vs Dean James
Just 4 more weeks to go for YOKKAO 43-44 which will take place on 26 October in Bolton. Another exciting bout has just been confirmed for the show and will pit YOKKAO Fight Team's Yodchai against Dean James in the co-main event.
Fresh off the YOKKAO Seminar tour in the USA, Yodchai is back training in full gear for the coming bout in Bolton. Since capturing the WBC Intercontinental title in January, the 24-year-old has been focusing on making his name at Lumpinee Stadium where he has headlined a number of events. He returns to the international scene on 26th where he will make his UK debut against local veteran, Dean James.
A Muay Thai world champion at three different weight divisions, James is a notable figure in the UK fight scene. The Wolverhampton native has recorded notable wins over highly decorated international fighters including Rungravee Sasiprapa at YOKKAO 8. Fighting out of Coventry Lions Gym, James will make a much-anticipated return to the YOKKAO ring after a 5-year absence from the YOKKAO ring.
Other than headlining bout featuring Liam Harrison vs Jeremy Payet, YOKKAO 43-44 is stacking up with other anticipated fights including Brian Totty Jr vs Jack Kennedy, Joe Craven vs Alex McGregor, Niamh Kinehan vs Jodie Clunan, Jacob Smith vs Manuel Gomez Rubio, and Chris Shaw vs Niall Brown.
The double event will be held at the University of Bolton Stadium. Limited Gold Outer Ringside and Silver seats are available at www.asia.yokkao.com/events/yokkao-43-44.
