Manachai set to fight Vahid Shahbazi for new promotion All Star Fight!
A new promotion is born in Bangkok and its name is All Star Fight: Elite Fighter. The promotion has begun with a bang calling out to some of the best fighters of the moment in Muay Thai. The first event has been scheduled to be held this August 20th 2017 at Workpoint in Bangkok. All Star Fight is organized by Buakaw Banchamek in cooperation with Chinese fight promotions giant, Kunlun Fight. Buakaw is taking on multiple role this time as both a promoter of the show as well as competing fighter. The star’s involvement in the show has attracted a list of big-name sponsors including Thai Tourism Office and Singha Beer among others. 16 world class fighters are set to take the stage for the event in 8 exciting matchups pitting Thai fighters against opponents from around the world. Besides Buakaw who will be facing 27 year-old Frenchman Azize Hlali, YOKKAO Fight Team’s new talent, Manachai YOKKAOSAENCHAIGYM will also make his appearance alongside team mate Pakorn. After outscoring the former 2013 Rajadamnern champion, Kiatpetch Suanaharneekmai in the recent Suraburi YOKKAO Next Generation event, Manachai will face off against Vahid Shahbazi. The 27 year old Iranian fighter is no fresh face in the Thailand Muay Thai scene, having trained and fought in Thailand for almost 10 years.
He has appeared in a series of high profile fight promotions that included beating ex-Thai champion Jaroenthong to win the Toyota Marathon (63 kg) in 2013. That same year, he faced Saenchai in another Toyota 8-men Marathon Tournament but was unmatched for the living legend. Vahid continues to fight on a regular basis in Thailand and will prove to be a fitting challenge for Manachai.
