YOKKAO 38: Joe Craven vs Chris Shaw
The card for YOKKAO 37 - 38 is stacking up with another fight confirmed for the 23 March event. UK number one, Joe Craven will be defending his spot against Scotland's Chris Shaw in a 72.5-kg showdown.
Craven made it to the top of the chart last August and saw a pristine undefeated fight record for 2018. He has picked up 3 wins on YOKKAO promotions to date including a decision against Jake Purdy last October. Fighting out of the renowned Bad Company gym in Leeds, Craven will defend his number one spot against another middleweight maestro, Chris Shaw.
Shaw will make his return to the YOKKAO stage after more than a year since his memorable round-one KO victory against Connor McCormack on YOKKAO 28. 2018 saw him slipping off the UK rankings but he's back to claim his spot. The multi-time champion will have to go through a tough-as-nails Craven, as he regains his momentum in the race to the top.
The middleweight clash between Craven and Shaw now joins a card of exciting fights including Superbank vs Paul Karpowicz, and Nathan Bendon vs Craig Coakley. UK legend Liam Harrison is also set to make his return to Bolton with an explosive matchup in the works.
