Singdam vs Alexi Petroulias to Headline YOKKAO 39
With about a month away to d-day at YOKKAO 39 - 40 in Sydney, the first matchup has just been confirmed. Multi-time stadium champion Singdam is set to take on Alexi Petroulias for the main event on YOKKAO 39.
Petroulias is one of the most prominent fighters on the Australian Muay Thai circuit. He has held a number of top honors in the country including the WBC Australian Super Lightweight and Welterweight titles. Fighting out of 8 Blade Warriors in Melbourne, Australia, Petroulias received the Pro Male Fighter of the year and Most Technical Fighter of the year at the Australian Muay Thai awards in 2015.
The Australian fighter will now put his skills and razor sharp elbows to the test as he faces Muay Thai legend, Singdam at YOKKAO 39.
Holding 275 wins in 345 fights, Singdam has won numerous titles at the highest level including the coveted Sports Writer Fighter of the Year award. After a stunning comeback performance at YOKKAO 35 in Italy, Singdam is now ready to make a statement at his Australian debut, and prove he is still one of the best in the game.
YOKKAO 39 - 40 is stacked with the hottest names in Australian Muay Thai along with fight appearances by YOKKAO Fight Team stars, Manachai, Yodchai and Spencer. Organized with long-time partner, SRG Promotions, the double event will be held on Saturday, 25 May at the Australian Technology Park.
